OutFest 2023

OutFest 2023, a celebration of queer performance, will be the largest to date. Over 6-days, patrons will have the opportunity to see some of the best professional Queer theatre in Canada, from completed works that have been on tour, to new and emerging creations.

Water, Baby! at OutFest 2023

Water, Baby! is a new Halifax play about swimming and sapphic love (among other things). To conceive her first ever screenplay, writer and actor Trisha Malik (she/her) drew from personal experience with sexuality and self-discovery.

On February 8, 2023, Dan MacKay joined the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia Programs and Services staff team for an open and frank conversation about aging, dementia and the LGBTQ2S+ community.
