Crystal Crescent beach regulars will have noticed a new fortification taking shape out at the far end of the third beach.
You'll see Nelson Savoy working on this on both weekdays and weekends.
Nelson says: "I am motivated to build forts by being able to rest sheltered from the wind when I go to the beach! For this one, I worked four hours a day for a whole month.
When I work on building forts, I have an amazing feeling of connectedness with wilderness, and times seem to be of a different quality. It feels like the grip of time is alleviated.
