Upcoming Gay Mens' Health Webinars

The Community-Based Research Centre for Gay Men’s Health (CBRC) has several upcoming webinars of interest for those who work with gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM).  

Loneliness – in collaboration with Ontario’s Gay Men’s Sexual Health Alliance

These webinars will begin with an exploration of the concept of loneliness and its impacts on behaviour. It will then move on to explore risk factors specific to gbMSM and best ways to reduce and prevent loneliness.

A two-part series:

  • Wednesday, July 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. AST - Loneliness: Not Always What We Think
  • Wednesday, August 25 from 4 to 5 p.m. AST - Loneliness among GBTQ Men

Poppers - The Ban on Alkyl Nitrites in Canada and its Impacts on gbMSM Health 
This webinar uses a harm reduction informed, sex positive lens to investigate the following: what poppers-related health problems are relevant to gay men in Canada, what impacts has the poppers ban had, and how can we respond as stakeholders in the community?
