DalOUT is calling on the government to amend the Human Rights Act to include gender identity and gender orientation as prohibited grounds for discrimination. The student society is doing a series of actions to promote equal human rights for gender variant and transgendered students, and all Nova Scotians generally.

Moncton Pride is a Go!

The remaining executive members, Wayne Richard and Jon Chaisson, have informed me that even though some executive members have resigned from the comittee, the show will still go on. Most of the Pride events were planned months in advance and everything is on schedule.

InterQ is about the intersection of like-minded people caring about their own and others; businesses, caring about the intersection of business with community development, and caring for the LGBT community as it intersects with the larger community.

NSRAP Report: 2012 AGM & Community Forum

The 15 nominees were a mix of experienced NSRAP board members and those new to NSRAP. Each nominee present spoke for a moment to their desire for change. For those not present, prepared speeches were read. All nominations were accepted and elected to the board.
